Well my friend, I understand your frustration. I don't blame you however, I blame all of us AMERICANS! (see you forgot a few capitals there) I can tell by you comment you are not as privileged as many of us so my generosity and sympathy for your situation will probably show here, just a bit. How do I know this you're probably wondering. Well first, when we talk about our own money we don't refer to it as "american dollars" (those darn capitals... I know). We just say Dollars. And we always capitalize ~America~ in any form. By the looks of your grammar, math skills and understanding of measurements, I am guessing a third world country. As I said, it's not your fault, you probably had to share those math and science books with all the children from your village. This is why I blame us, we really should be doing more to help the less privileged children of the world to get a proper education. Then once I checked out your profile I really felt bad... That profile pic says it all my friend. I know, life is hard, it's not your fault, and 83% positive feedback.... You must be very sad and angry at the world for putting you in such a pitiful state of being. So out of my kindness and generosity I will try to help you out a little. In my next comment below I will try to explain measurements of precious metals to you. I am very, very sorry the world has ignored you for so long and neglected to properly educate you, so I really want to help. Just read the next comment. And I Won't Block You (rite away) just in case there's something you'd like to ad Friend. I do have to ask one question though, Where on earth did you get 2987 credits from to bid on this gold?

@ SHINER, where was that photo your using for your profile pic taken? Looks like my kind of place :)
I live not to far from Fort Griswold and Fort Trumbull on the Thames River in New London/Groton, CT. Both were Revolutionary War Forts and very, very cool places to go walking. Especially down by the river and picturing how it must have looked over 200 years ago.
Looks like an old place. (your picture that is)

Monday morning and Silver is starting out at $38.47. Last Monday it was around $36.00. thats 7+% in 7 days. The other day someone mentioned how they were excited by gold but didn't know why folks make such a big to do about silver. The prcious metals market is always risky but for now .... I'll take a few gambles. It's never to late to junp in. And very easy to jump out :)

nothing personal, but I won't ship international until listia adds some seller protection policies to the list. I'm sure you are honest but if I say yes to you it opens pandoras box and if some not so honest person wins all they have to do is request their credits back and I'm out. Weather I add tracking, dc, insurance... It really isn't fair to you guys as well as the listersbut...
Thanks for asking and I do hope you understand.

this site is so much fun. i just wanted to take a look at your listing even though i don't have the credits to bid on it yet. i figured i could learn something about gold prices and being an auctioneer. and i did learn a lot. but the lesson you (hopefully) taught willard was priceless. i will visit many more of your listings and hopefully be able to make a serious bid one day soon. thanks...jody

gold is starting the day at $1437.00 or so. I think it was around $1420.00 this time last week. So this gram of gold went up about $1.50 since I listed it a week ago. Not bad. Willard, you should get your bid back up there. I don't have any bad feelings.

Am almost afraid to post the silver one though even with me taking it to get checked I hate drama or being rude to anyone. Just wish some could realize its simple IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEN DONT BID... How hard can it be other then mouth rude comments. Still Watching the other I have my eye on hehe...

Boy would I love to do some yard work. Probably the thing I miss most about my little house. Makes me sick to go up there and see the condition of the house and property. Cn't wait to be able to go house shopping again. When I bought my hous I honestly could care less what the house even looked like,... It had an acre of land backed by 20 acre of land the guy up the road owned and the area behind my propery was considered wetlands so no one could build. I would be out there every weekend building or destroying something :)
Yea, just say no to drama my friend and good luck with the other ring if you do list it.

yeah.... some things go way higher than I would expect, some ... not so much. So is the way of auctions. I guess thats also what keeps me listing too. It's that adrenalin rush in the last 10 seconds of every auction I list or bid :)

Maybe I'll plan a visit to my Moms while you guys are on your mission.

They actually evacuated my Moms town one storm and sent them to a school 40 miles away. Don't you know, that storm took a turn and made a B-Line straught for the school where they were all hunkered down in :). I guess you get used to it. She is 1 mile from the Gulf but her land is at sea level so god forbid .... don't like to think of anything like thaty with her down there with none of our family near by.

Also include your sons safe return in the prayers ((()))

so would I. I'd rack up some serious flyer miles coming back up here every weekend to be with my boys.
Funny thing is, I was actually thinking about buying down near my mom on the gulf coast of Florida because it's such a buyers market there. I could grab a sweet house with canal access to the gulf for close to nothing and I would just continue renting here at the lake. Best of both worlds. Summer at the lake and winter on the Gulf :) Have to see what the surgeons and my army of Docs have to say before I start thinking about anything.

If anybody out there has a copy of The Krause Standard Catalog of World Paper Money ** pre-1961 issues** they can list that would be spectacular. I don't care about the date really, not using it to catalog prices just using it to ID notes and for reference. Hate to go buy one, so if maybe somebody updated to a newer eddition and doesn't use their older one I would be willing to bid a few thousand on it once my gold listing ends. Thanks friends.
