Questions & Comments
I'm kind of new to coins and stuff, so don't laugh, but I see the coin says 1929, is that the actual year? If not, that's fine, but I was just wondering, thanks!
sorry, I'm so used to listing these I forget all the time that a lot of folks that don't normally buy bullion rounds don't realize that often times they mint coins to look like actual old coins like these and the walkers or Morgans. No this is not an actual 1929 coin. This is a 1/10th troy ounce silver bullion round minted in the likeness of a 1929 gold piece on one side and a wheat cent reverse on the other. Why they chose this design I haven't a clue. Makes no sense at all. :) thanks for the great question. I'll have to remember to start adding that in again.
silver closed at like $40.95. Imagine that, Silver went up about ten dollars in two weeks. WOW!!! Gold closed around $1476.00 too. Not to shabby. Maybe we'll see $1500 next week.
WOAH!!!!! I woke up to $1472.00 an oz for gold and silver went over $40.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just listed a great vintage German made pocket knife under Antiques/vintage. Hope everybody takes a look since my last one got yanked before it ended. here's the link: http://www.listia.com/auction/1619313
Beautiful coins man!!! Silver is still on the rise so the value of this beauty is only going up as well. Would like to have one of these, but alas, cannot afford it right at the moment!!! Will definitely keep an eye on your future auctions!!!
thanks. I hope they go well. The last group of bullion auctions I listed I got pretty beat up on. did good on that Hawaii note though. Fargocowgirl was the winning bidder at just over 14000 credits. YEEEEEEHAW Cow girl. Thanks to everyone who bid.
If anybody out there has a copy of The Krause Standard Catalog of World Paper Money ** pre-1961 issues** they can list that would be spectacular. I don't care about the date really, not using it to catalog prices just using it to ID notes and for reference. Hate to go buy one, so if maybe somebody updated to a newer eddition and doesn't use their older one I would be willing to bid a few thousand on it once my gold listing ends. Thanks friends.
for what :) Thank you for looking. Please check out my other listings and be sure to check back in a day or two. I have quite a bit of stuff to list and I'm also heading out to the flea market in just a few, so I'll probably have even more stuff to list :) It never ends :)
Hey folks.... Just listed a real nice ***Vintage Sabre Pocket Knife***. I was told it's the *Stockman* model with a ***Bone handle***. I could be wrong and if I am feel free to correct me any time. This is a real nice knife thats part a pretty large lot of vintage pocket knives I intend on listing, trading or selling outright. So if anybody has any questions or wants to see some pics I will do my best to return all messages promptly.(it may take me a day or two though, so please be patient, lots going on at the moment with the Docs and Surgeons and what not.
Heres the link to the Sabre Listing: http://www.listia.com/auction/1603523 it's never to late to start collecting these great little knives. Thanks folks :) Tony
I fell out when I read you repilies on the gold auction! Very funny stuff! I really dont understand the fuss going up now over silver. gold yes, silver,no. I had some gold rings I was putting up on here, but when I seen your listing I change my mind. Some was 10k, 14K and one is 18K. Also have an old ring that is green gold. That I do not understand , as when I took it in to the jeweler to get fixed ( it was wearing thin) they said they could not fix it with the same gold. Enlighten me Please!
without it in my hand to check out I wouldn't even be able to give you a guess. Silver is actually increasing at a greater rate than gold is if you think about it. In the last few days silver went up a buck. in the last few days gold went up maybe 5 or ten. So in oerder for gold to be increasing at the same rate as silver it should have gone up about 35 or so bucks. Basically if you had invested 10k in gold a month ago and also invested 10k in silver, the money you invested in silver would have made you more money than the money you had in gold. Some folks like the fact of silver being easier to move and use than gold should something terrible happen to our currency. Lately the way the dollar has been devaluized has some folks extremely nervous and some folks are hoarding silver expecting to use it for trade. I my self am a bit more optomistic. Thanks for looking and good luck with your auctions.
***STARTING A WANT LIST HERE FOR ALL TO PARTISIPATE***
I am looking for any foreign stamp price catalogs. Specifically Great Britain, any other European countries (**Germany**), Hong Kong, Mexico and any Latin America as we as the larger South American Countries. I would like to get my hands on albums not older than 2006-2008. Really not for the prices but just for reference. I have to trade plenty of copies of the "2010 Red Book", "2009 Blue Book", and copies of the most recent edition of "The Official A.N.A. Coin Grading Standards" (all coin grading and or pricing reference books) And also still have a couple of copies of "The 2008 US/BNA Stamp Guide" . All of the books I have to trade are in ~NEW~ condition with just signs of shelf wear. I will consider any and all trades! I am also always interested in your old stamp, coin and currency albums. (NEW OR USED CONDITION) I also have a ton of brand spanking new Presidential $1 coin folders to trade, list here or sell.
~***Anybody else have a want list***~, feel free to put it in my comments of any of the auctions I currently have listed.
Anybody interested in dealing or trading with me please send a private message and I will return all enquiries promptly. Please keep in mind that if you are looking to sell, I am and have been since 2008 on Workers Compensation and recovering from a back surgery that didn't go well. So my funds available for any of my hobbies are very, very limited. So anybody with a high value item that your looking to get cash for, I'm probably not your man :( But I love to ~Barter~ !
