You will receive the following:

(2) back and white ribbon hair elastics. These were handmade and never worn. They are made on goody no slip grippy elastics. They are the larger size elastics for an older girl/teenager or a younger girl with thick hair. I have 7 to choose from and you will get to select 2 of them. They are photographed as is.

These were made by a friend to honor another friend who died after being diagnosed with Melanoma. Amber was pregnant when she discovered the cancer. Her third child, a boy, just celebrated his first birthday when she passed away from melanoma, nearly 4 years ago.

Melanoma is a silent killer, often going undiagnosed until the cancer is so far advanced that it's not treatable, hence being represented by the black color. It's important to wear sunblock and to get an annual skin exam by a dermatologist to catch anything early. Amber had no risk factors, and yet, this terrible disease took a generous heart, a loving mother, and a beautiful soul.

Winner must send address/shipping info with 4 days of auction ending. I ship on T & TH only---sometimes I can get in the mail sooner but not always as I am a single mom and a full time college student.
