It will usually turn on and work for maybe 15 mins. to an hour, then suddenly turns off. No warning.

That happened to me once! There is software running you need to stop ! Delete them .. Make sure it charge 100% too if it don't then turn it on keep it plug up until it does ! try that a couple of times let it use it up completely almost then charge again then it should be ok then
