Not really sure. It was my daughter's. I don't think she used it but once for her ballet class when she was 14. She had long hair middle of her back. Fine hair. Wouldn't hold much for thick hair. I measured the net bun and it measures 5 inches across widest part and 4 inches measured from clip to bottom of net. It has a little stretch to it. I didn't want to push it. It's been stored, smoke free in a dresser. Looks brand new. I hope this info helps. Thanks for asking.

Rochell I have used these before and they are so cute. The net will hold a lot of hair if you put your hair in a pony tail and wrap it in a bun, then secure it with pins. the net will fit right over it. Hope this helps.
