I purchased this unit to use for jewelry making (sanding sharp edges on wire and findings) but before I had a chance to use it, I received a Dremel for my birthday instead.

I shot a photo of the unit still in the package (see last photo), then opened the bag to test it. (Original package will not be included because I'd rather bubble wrap each piece individually for safest shipping.)

YES - this unit is in perfect working condition. The built-in rechargeable battery pack detaches from the tool and easily inserts into the docking station, which plugs into a standard wall outlet. A red light comes on to indicate when it's charging.

I charged it briefly to test, and I was surprised at the speed and intensity it's capable of. (The speed is adjustable via the dial on the front.) It will need a full charge upon arrival.

Obviously this grinder is NOT a high-end, brand name Dremel tool, but it IS a very nice tool for small hobby projects, crafting, and household uses. It's a great size - substantial in your hand, but not overbearing or cumbersome to hold. The fold-out metal loop on the end makes it easy to hang and store.

I'm not sure, Janice - sorry! The only attachments included with this set are sanding heads, but I believe it will accept any universal accessories for cutting, grinding, etc. Whether it's powerful and fast enough to handle glass, I cannot guarantee. Thank you for asking, though.
