These are tube beads, about 1/4" long and mixed colors. Great for many crafts, I originally got them to put on a decorated goose egg, but I finally gave up and decided I would never get around to it. Free shipping to any USA address.

Good question. I have no idea. Someone who is familiar with beads may know when they look at them. What are the choices? They are translucent, just thin tubes.

They sound like glass or plastic.

They look and sound like hard plastic or glass. My guess is plastic.
