Description

The listing, Tiny original art pottery: ceramic bowls and more. Tiered auction. has ended.

This is a tiered auction of small cute ceramic items I've painted. Your winning bid will get you at least one original, hand painted, signed, one-of-a-kind work of art.

Winner picks an item from the pictures above.
At 500 points, the winner picks two items.
At 1000 points, the winner picks three items.
1500 points, 4 items.
And so on--at 6000 you get all 12 items.

At 7000, you'll get a mystery item. The mystery item will also be a handpainted piece of pottery. The higher the bids, the better the mystery item; you might get another tiny item, or you might get a full sized mug or bowl or something. You'll have to bid to find out!

For size reference, the post-it notes used to number the items are 3 inches x 3 inches. If multiple pictures have the same number, they're multiple views of the same item.

Bowls could be decorations, or you could use them as prep bowls or soy dishes. As you can see, there are some potential sets, or you could mix it up. There are two styles of bowls; #5, #6, and #7 are one style, and the rest are the other style. Bowls are food safe and can be washed in the dishwasher. Balls have little metal hoops so you could thread a string or thin cord through them, or use Christmas ornament style hooks. Tiny teacup with saucer is just decorative; in case anyone wonders, teacup + saucer = one item.

These items make great little gifts.

US only, free shipping by USPS with tracking; will ship within two business days of receiving the winner's selection(s) and shipping info.

These are really nice! Are that any that are blue? Thanks so much! :) Fanned ya!

Thanks! #7 is a very deep sort of "midnight" blue that I streaked with a lighter blue to give it a night sky effect, and #2 and #3 are shades of teal or bluish green. Guess I haven't done much "true blue" lately! I'm hoping this goes well and I can list some more, though. These little pieces are super fun to paint, but I'm scared I'm going to end up on that "Hoarders" show, buried in arty prep bowls, with my husband being interviewed about how he has to sleep on the back deck.

What are the dimensions of the bowl? just deep and wide-across the top rim would be helpful. Thanks!

Sure! Numbers 5, 6, and 7 are a little more than 3 inches in diameter and about 1.75 inches tall. The rest of the bowls are 3 inches across and a little bit more than 1.25 inches tall.

I hope you don't mind this suggestion. If there was a quarter or any other coin that the size is understood, it would help tons toward being able to imagine the size of items. I realized this too late after I had put a bunch or photos up for auction and then I wound up answering gobs of question regarding sizes...now-no more questions. I love your work! Hopefully I will soon have lots of it in my home!

Yeah, thank you, that's what I was doing with the 3x3 post-it notes, but as you can see, it didn't work as well as my usual trick. I usually photograph my work next to a regular sized coffee mug, which works really well for dishes, but I couldn't find an unpainted mug when I was doing the photos. Good luck with your bid! You're up to two bowls!

I think the problem with the post it notes is that now they come in so many different sizes. You know the little dip bowls that duck sauce in Chinese restaurants come in? Are they about that size?

Do you have a kiln? How do you set the glazes on the stuff?
