Found in a box of stuff and nearly forgotten about, this is a big ugly vintage dress clip, probably from the 30s or 40s, used to be gold toned, now sort of multi-toned having lost most of the gold coloring. All stones are there and the large red stone has faceting around where it is set into the bezel. It is a prong-set stone too and glass. Hopefully you can see the multi-toned gold and silver in the pictures. Otherwise, it is in excellent vintage condition.

I flipped it around so you can see what it looks like the other way - probably the proper way to wear the clip.

The clip measures 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. The stone itself is over an inch across and 3/4 of an inch high. It sits firmly in the bezel and is quite tall off the clip. No maker's marks but there is a number on the top of the clip AT180112.
