This listing is for the Original "Rustie" Bride Doll that stands over 3 1/2 feet tall. She is #241 of 400 a very limited collection. She was made in 1999 and purchased from HSN for $500.00. She is dressed in a very detailed wedding gown with hat and veil. Her dress is hand beaded with pearls - Swarovski crystals - and beads. She has flowing curly red hair. She is styled after the artist's own wedding photo. Her white wedding gown had aged to a beautiful soft ivory over the years. She has a fully articulated head with glass eyes. Her expression seems to change with the different movements of her head. The pictures do not do her justice. I too love Bride dolls. I have an original GEPPEDO that I brought back from Germany when I was there in 95. I also have an anatomically correct little boy doll that is made of vinyl. He will be going up for auction next month. Join me and keep watching

Her head chest - forearms - lower legs are all porcelain Her torso and upper arms and upper legs are cloth shredded into cloth body. Her head is fully articulated.

She is indeed quite beautiful. I am sorry to send her to a new home. However, I am trying to sort my affairs out before I get too much older and am unable to have a say in where things go and to whom they go. I have no really close family My sisters and brother live far away and i don't see them very often. I am sending them the things I think they will enjoy. But no one but me was an avid doll collector. I have over 300 dolls still to go up for auction Just have to wait til funds allow me to pay for shipping and handling.

You know I almost had them convinced to quit smoking and then they started snuffing and spitting. Couldn't handle that one. I keep trying. My spouse has stage four throat cancer from smoking you would think the dogs would have learned but he didn't - so they didn't.
