Plants start from seeds, bulbs, tubers etc. There are so many types of wandering jews I just learned about! I want them. If only ebay accepted credits :) Check these out.

I just read up on this and it said to crumble the flower head on top of moist dirt. With temps between 68-80 degrees. They should geminate between 2-4 weeks.

Don't use a high nutrient potting mix (like miracle grow) if starting indoors. A seed starting formula (miracle grow makes one) or even dirt from your yard would be better. Seeds can't take as much fertilization as an established plant.
