The listing, spells and witchcraft - for FUN ONLY has ended.
I DO NOT ADVISE THE USE OF WHITE OR BLACK MAGICK. THESE BOOKS ARE FOR FUN AND INFO ONLY. They are: Spells of Protection, The Spirit Book, The Goodly Spellbook, and the Encyclopedia of Witches and Witchcraft. These were a "gift" I want NO part of. IF the bidding reaches 200, I will add the book Herbal Riituals. Postage is $10.50 and I accept PayPal ONLY.
you shouldn't say they're for "fun." that's how people end up doing something stupid and getting something attached to them; because they don't think it's real, or take no precautions, or think it will be fun to fool around with. magic should be treated with respect. anyway, would you consider breaking them up individually so the shipping won't cost so much? plus i already have two of those books :\ i'm very interested in the herbal rituals tho :D
You're right, it should be taken VERY seriously. I have simply found it safer to say they're for "fun" than trying to explain all the things that can happen. It would take a long time to say if you do this or this or this, something bad can happen. And I would NEVER condone the use of an ouija board - way too mmany portals can be opened that way. Herbal Rituals is a hp, new book by Judith Berger. I read through it, finding several things of interest and use. (I'm a Shaman, Native American, by the way.) It gows through the lunar year in months, telling the purpose of each month, what can and probably does happen then, and what you can do. It runs November to October, and is very interesting.
If you bid and win, you may choose the ones you want. I hate to have duplicate books. When I was starting my Janet Evanovich collection I would have 2 or even 3 just alike. Luckily there's a used bookstore nearby where I can trade!
I've been reading over these, and you know, I really should learn to spell! The problem is, I was typing too fast for my keyboard, driving me crazy. My baby brother told me how to speed it up, which I did plus buy a new keyboard. Now, I can't keep up! If I hold a letter down more than a second it repeats itself. I have a sneaky feeling he told me how to speed things up a little too much on purpose. Oh, baby brothers. Aren't they wonderful things! :-))
silver's spells for protection..it was the first spell book i ever bought ^_^ the herbal rituals book sounds very cool tho. i really want to get into herbalism. this spring i'm going to try and grow an herb garden. i don't suppose if i were to win if i could choose this book? really it's the only one i want. how much would it cost to ship to 01570? nvm..i just read that it's paypal only. anway, i've never met a native american shaman before...well, not that we've met, but i've never talked to one either. i think it's very cool :) i wish i knew more about shamans so i could ask you some questions. i feel like i'm wasting an opportunity here.. it was nice to have talked to you tho, and your daughter's screen name is really cute, cause of the story.
If you want the herbal ritual only, I'll pay shipping. I can re-list the others after this one is over. Just bid whateveer you think it will be worth to you, and no one ever has to know about the PayPal bit. And if you think of any Shamanic questions, ask away! I'm the fifth generation in my family, and it ends with me, because Angel doesn't seem interested, although I know that might change, and I haen't a neice or cousin or anything like that who's interested. It has to go woman to woman, same bloodline, but not necessarily a straight line, like mother to daughter. I was taught after my aunt died of cancer when she was only 35. Such a waste, at that age. But then, I'm 50, so 35 is quite young when I look at it. I was taught by a Great Aunt who had taught my Aunt. And herbs and herbalism is SO cool. You can cleanse a house with sage, bind one with salt to protect those inside -- I could go on and on, but like I said, bid what you think the book is worth, and that's the only one I'll send.
wow, thank you so much! i'll probably bid on the last day with whatever credits i have remaining, to be sure i don't get outbid and not have enough credits to win. i hope angel changes her mind tho, i would hate for something like this to die out. i'm sure it will change tho. when i met my bf, i had no interest in witchcraft and i wanted nothing to do with it at all, and he respected that and didn't push it on me. a year and a half later i decided that i would find out more about it, and maybe learn it. and here i am, trying to learn as much as possible. just give her time. if i may ask, why does it have to go in the same bloodline? what if angel doesn't ever want to learn? my mom loves native american stuff, cuz she can trace her line to a cherokee tribe, and one other but i don't know which, so i know that the native americans are great and beautiful, and shamans are very wise and to me, mysterious and otherworldly. something like that shouldn't die. so i was just wondering why you couldn't find someone with interest in it, should angel be set on not learning and you feel there is little time left, several decades down the line i hope.
Shamans have to come from the same tribe, according to Native tradition. I am Blue Clan in Cherokee and Panther Clan in Shawnee. I really think Angel will change her mind. Right now she's going back and forth. Fortunately she recently married a man from the Odawa tribe, so I'd saw he'll enourage her. If your mother can trace her Cherokee ancestry to the Blue Clan, and no one else in your family has the title Shaman, you could probably claim it. It has to be on the mother's side. You, your mom, her mom, her mom's mom, etc.
i'm glad that there's a good chance that angel will come around then :) i don't think my mom knows which clan our family was in, seeing as this is the first i've ever heard of clans. but then, when i was told this i was little and so i didn't have much interest in the details. i know it was on the mother's side tho. no one has the title shaman either..my mom's the only one in the family who feels a real true connection to the native americans. i swear in a past life she was one of those native american wise women. is that basically the same thing as shamans? anyway, i don't think i could claim shaman because i wouldn't be able to teach myself that sort of thing. i feel like something sacred like that would have to be taught, and not learned out of books. out of curiousity, what exactly does a shaman do? btw, thank you very much for talking with me about this. i find it very interesting :)
About the noone will know about the paypal deal? everybody who reads this auction knowz! i would like the rest of them if you decide to put any more up for auction i would love to bid! im fanning!
