There are many mouths to feed under the Walton roof, & for family head John (Ralph Waite) that means hunting. John's next hunt won't be ordinary: his eldest son, John-Boy (Richard Thomas) is going along for the 1st time. He wants to prove himself-but killing an innocent creature goes against his deepest feelings. Thirteen year old Mary Ellen also faces a rite of passage. She's saved up $2.98 for a catcher's mitt. It's also the price of that frilly new dress in the sundries store. Be yourself: that's the Walton way. For John-Boy & Mary Ellen, it's a way that must be learned.

This is a used copy & comes from my home where my husband smokes & I have pets. The case is in excellent condition & the movie plays very well.
