The listing, Spanish Moss has ended.
Despite it's name Spanish Moss is not a moss, but a bromeliad(air plant). Most bromeliad, including Spanish moss are epiphytes.Epiphytes grow on other plant's,but do not rely on them for nutrients. They take nutrients from the air and debris that collect on the plant.Spanish Moss does not have roots. It attaches to substrates by wrapping it stems around a surface. The uses of Spanish moss can be done in several different ways.It can be placed in flower containers, hanging baskets, and planter boxes. It can be used in floral arrangements, bird's nesting box, stuff your patio pillows and etc. When you water your plant's the blanket of Spanish moss will help the water keep from evaporating so that your plant's can get enough moisture even on the hottest day. It's also a wonderful mulch.I have tons of this stuff.I use it every year with my flower containers, vegetables and around the yard for decoration.I will send a gallon size zip lock bag packed really tightly in order to get a good bit inside the bag.It will come pre washed, but please re wash it.
