Description

The listing, Butterfly Bush mix - 30-50 seeds has ended.

I know 30-50 is a wide range for the seeds, but these li'l buggers are TINY. I don't see that small, thus the wide range of number of seeds.

Butterfly Bush

It is a delight to watch all types of butterflies sip nectar from the abundant flowers on this aptly named shrub.
About This Plant
Butterfly bush is a large, arching shrub that produces masses of flowers in midsummer to fall. Flower colors include blue, pink, red, violet, yellow, and white, and the shrub grows 5 to 10 feet tall and wide, depending on the variety. Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or fall, spacing plants 5 to 10 feet apart, depending on the variety. Prepare the garden bed by using a garden fork or tiller to loosen the soil to a depth of 12 to 15 inches, then mix in a 2- to 4-inch layer of compost. Dig a hole twice the diameter of the pot the plant is in. Carefully remove the plant from its container and place it in the hole so the top of the rootball is level with the soil surface. Carefully fill in around the rootball and firm the soil gently. Water thoroughly.

Ha..I've been going through your auctions..and I REALLY need you to come teach me how to "garden". Lol. Just moved to a really cute 2br rancher. And can finally plant and (try to) grow things. The soil is pretty hard and very "rocky". There's actually a rock quarry on the other side of the hill..right out my back door. But maybe you can help. I like bold colors. And everything from tall vines to short clusters. Would love to attract butterflies & possibly humming birds..(if that's even possible..lol). I only have 2 thumbs and neither 1 of them are green! So something simple/easy to grow..would be perfect. My "Grams" did the whole gardening thing. And did it very well. But shes been gone for just about a yr now. And my mother, well that just wasn't her thing. And she's been gone for almost 5 yrs now anyway. But I love your auctions, and ANY suggestions..would be GREATLY appreciated. ;) Pleeeeeaase? Lol. If not, its absolutely fine. I understand. Still love your auctions though! ;) Hope to hear from you. Have a good one! ;)

It's always fun to watch something you planted grow from a seed ! If you have hard rocky soil, you should work some peat moss into top 6" of soil in the areas that you want to garden. I love watching hummingbirds, too.. if you plant flowers and vines.. they will come ;)
