Hi Eroki,you are thinkin' the same thing I did when I saw this baby !? HOW ! It only has 4 card slots but they must be right on. Great item! Even though I can't name that many different memory cards! Are there actually 56? LOL

I'll have to check the website and see if it handles Compact Flash cards.

Counting the major and sub models I suspect there are more than 56 cme2. Dont know any body that understands them all. Maybe one day they will be standardized.In the mean time its kinda trial & error. This reader handles most standard cards but about the exotics I dont know. Thanks for stoppin' in, Chuck

Yea bolivia you are so right.SM cards are memory only(no controller) and pre 2001 and they maxed out at only 128MB. Still available but take a back seat to all the others out there,especially the xD-picture cafds. Catch you later Dude, Chuck
