Here is a beautiful antique , Victorian Chinese piece , not quite as flat as a plate as it curves up slightly more like a little bowl. Marked "made in Japan" in red print. Tons of beautiful details through out , measuring 4 inches across, a real keeper !

and made in Japan is apparent to even commoners. This is called Geisha Imari made after the period of 1900. Fact Japanese is a better product then China; unless we are talking Dynasty periods prior to Ming Dynasty!
