The listing, Vintage WWII USMC Hat Pin has ended.

Vintage World War II United States Marine Corp hat pin.

I believe these were made of brass - pin has the original hardware on the back. There is one area of damage to the finish, shown in the last photo.

I'm sorry, but I really can't find out for sure who wore this pin. My father was army and my grandfather was born in 1906, so it's probably not his. As I said, it was in my grandmother's jewelry box, so it must have some significance to her but I can't say with certainty who wore.
