I think you meant Presario cq57 339WM and thats a laptop. The ram in this auction is for a desktop.
Looks like your system came with 2G of DDR3-1333 (PC3-10600)UB non-ecc
If your OS is 64bit you can max out with 8G
I looked at a few different offers for your model. some were 1.5v whole some other were 1.35v .... you for sure would want to get with HP and ask them. I wouldn't mix voltages.
laptop ram is smaller than desktop. Laptop is 204 pin while desktop is 240 pin
If your a desktop I'm showing you to have 1066MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM
This ram runs at 1333MHz
I'm guessing 1333MHz will work clocking down to 1066MHz but you might want to check further.
I mentioned your PC has ECC Ram which has error-checking and correcting ability of your memory modules. should an error occur. ECC ram generally used in servers.
You can mix non-ECC with ECC, However, adding non-ECC memory to an ECC system will disable the error-checking and correcting ability of your memory modules.
