Description

The listing, 8-8 Inch cuttings Chocolate Corkscrew Willow has ended.

I have taken one long branch of chocolate Corkscrew willow and cut into aprox. 8" pieces to fit a bubble envelope. They are wrapped in moist paper towel with rooting hormone (but not really needed, they are the source of rooting hormone on plants) when you receive them, place in water or damp soil.
If you want tracking, please send $1.00 dollar (this is for tracking AND a little help towards padded envelope) to bluefd40@gmail.com Otherwise once mailed, it is out of my hands but most all the time, there isn't a problem

Hello blue! I found you:) Great auction, watching and will be back:) Please tell us more about the chocolate, is it the color? We have corkscrew willows and they root easily. Love them all!

Dianne! Glad you found me! I really don't know a lot about the chocolate corkscrew, was at Plantasia up by Buffalo NY last week and they were for sale, a friend picked up a bunch of them. Have many cuttings rooting in water now. The chocolate is the color, it is a more tanish brown and will look fantastic along side the green corkscrew which if this auction does well enough, will have some green soon

These climates are ideal for growing anything. Use a little Miracle Grow after planting once a week. The main thing is insuring you water regularly. If in the ground you can water a out every 4-5 days. if in pots I would water every 2 days. Make sure pots have a layer of rocks on bottom and holes. Hope this was helpful. Regards, Scott

These would, naturally, require an environment with plenty of water available, right? Not a good pick for arid climes? Nice Auction, F&W!

Hi crookedman, I'm not sure how to answer this one, I gave green willow cuttings to my sister, she planted them in her yard where it is very dry and they took off, when I did it, it they died. I have a bog area and that's where I grow them now. Probably not good for arid areas.
