Is tibetan silver anything like sterling... just woneering what the difference is

Hi,
Tibetan silver is made of silver alloy. I am not certain of it's exact composure but I do know there is very little actual silver in it. It is definitely NOT sterling .925
Tibetan Silver is great costume jewellry that doesn't tarnish & shines like silver.

It's my understanding that the turquoise is Tibetan & different than the turquoise we're used to in the western world...
