The listing, Vintage Western Miniature Unmarked Tooled Leather Saddle has ended.

It is with sadness and a heavy heart that I post this antique/ vintage miniature saddle. My miniature horse died a few weeks ago and I no longer need his saddle any more. Widow Maker, the miniature horse, would want this saddle to go to a good home.

This Western saddle measures approx 4.25" long. I purchased this at an estate sale and seller was unsure of origin. Could be a saleman's sample or part a toy horse. It does not have a girth strap underneath so I don't think it was part of a toy horse. Of course if it's a salesman's sample there should be a brand on the saddle.

Condition: Leather needs treating!! The brads are rusted from age and blends in with the natural brown leather. The left stirrup has a small tear. Otherwise the saddle is in good vintage condition!!

Go ahead and bid for Widow Maker's saddle. Let's keep his memories alive He was a darn good horse!!

Questions & Comments

This looks like a toy or decorative piece. Since there is no place for a girth, how could you have used it on an actual horse? Just curious.

To have used this, 4.25 inch long saddle, Widow Maker, must have been a toy.

I actually have five more miniature saddles similar to this one. I may list another one depending on how much interest there is in this one.

Fanned and watching. Just curiosity question how big was Widow Maker? Lol. Might just bid on this. I refurbish hobby horses and this just might fit one I'm working on at the moment
