Questions & Comments
Have you heard of PayPal? You can go to www.paypal.com & it is free to start an account there, that is how a LOT of people, including myself exchange payment for shipping costs etc. I have had mine since 2000 & have never had problem number one... The reasons I & others like PayPal is because it is quick, I could literally send the shipping cost to you in less than 3 minutes & because it is safe, you give them (PayPal) your bank info once, but then when you go to pay for something (say you needed to pay shipping or was just buying online) you don't have to give out your bank acct. or credit card # to someone, or to a site you don't know well... Plus, there are literally millions of sites that let you use PayPal as a means of payment, so it is every bit as wide-known as Visa & MasterCard these days... The other ways people send shipping payments here are by money order, which of course takes longer because it has to get to you thru the mail, & people send it also by "concealed cash" or basically by putting cash inside a folded paper & inside a greeting card or something, but I don't like the idea of sending cash in the mail, it could get lost, then the sender is just out... I like PayPal best, quickest & safest for all concerned, but certainly it is up to you as the seller of the item how you wish to receive it... Also, once you decide how you want to do it, in the future you should always add it to the info section of any auction... Like when I ask for shipping cost I always state: I ONLY accept my requested shipping via PayPal, & I even add please DO NOT bid if this is a problem for you... Something along those lines... I sure hope I have helped you with some info here... Giggle, I sound like I work for Listia or PayPal or both... LoL Ok gonna post this before I have to leave a space & type Chapter 2 Take Care & God Bless ~Angel~
VERY SWEET indeedy.. I sooooo NEED this for a special dietary need in the household... YES Joanne, please let me know your PayPal email AFTER the auction ends (safety for you on your email info) Only winner & you & Listia can see this AFTER auction... I will send you the amount they asked to your PayPal & I am so thankful you found us both a deal.. Thanks & God Bless !!! ~Angel~
wow Angel, you were so helpful. i was going to bid on this, because i wanted one of these to use with my polymer clay projects, but you put so much time and effort into explaining everything I don't have the heart to try to outbid you :) I hope i will find another one eventually :)
As far as you verifying the cost of shipping at your end, I only suggested that for your comfort, but what I found out is accurate & can be checked by you at www.usps.com That is why I asked you for the weight, & needed your zip code, because you input that info, so the postal service knows where you are sending to & the weight of your item & comes back with a cost... So I can just send you the $12.70 amount & you can post it to me by telling them Priority 2-day when you take it to send... That also provides you with I believe $50 insurance & tracking information for no extra cost, which is why a LOT of people prefer that method, not to mention it is quicker than say standard post... Alright, so get back to me before this ends if you can, & once again, I hope I have helped you out, & you will be around here for the long haul... Listia is a FUN & helpful place to hang out !!! Sincerely; ~Angel~
Thank you for the information... when I searched USPS.com & input 6 lbs. from your zip to mine the site quotes $8.55 if you buy postage online, OR $12.70 if you take it personally to the post office, for Priority 2-day shipping... Let me know if you are able to before the auction ends if that is the same information you get on shipping cost... Thanks a million... ~Angel~
It would be good if you could let me know weight of box however you decide to pack it up, as soon as you can, I am kinda wanting to find out shipping cost ASAP so I can make a decision on other items I am bidding on & still retain enough to bid here, so if you can post a final weight here soon that would be awesome.... Thanks a Million & God Bless ~Angel~
Just realized I commented on other post! New at this. 7 lbs 2 boxes..will fold original box and pack all original pieces with extra blades, cup, cup cover and.manual to reduce weight. Will let u know approx. Wht.
Do you have any idea how much the box weighs, so I can average exact shipping, or can you search the shipping cost to Owensboro, KY 42301? I appreciate your assistance !!! :-)
Thank You so very much for your replies, & photo... I appreciate that & will be bidding before the end of auction, after my credits hit my account from my last auction... Take Care & God Bless; ~Angel~
