Up for Auction is a Used Leappad Ultra!
NO cosmetic damage and looks in like new condition! Partially Muffled sound from speaker but still runs flawlessly and sounds loud and crisp when used with headphones.

I won a leappad on Listia about a week ago. Around the same time my mother found one. I am listing the one that was gifted on here for all my fellow listians to have a chance! This thing is awesome and my 3 year old loves his! We upgraded from the leappad 2. The only downside to this particular leappad is the sound is muffled from the external speaker. It is only sometimes the quality isn't clear, but with headphones it works just fine and sounds loud and crisp!

Yes I think the videos do some auctions a lot of good. This shows it runs apps like new with no flaws and you are able to hear the audio. Its not too terrible and I have been working on it to see of I can fix actually. I have it sounding even better so I may post a new one later! With headphones it sounds perfect and out of the stock speaker only certain tones seem to be muffled so im hoping I can get it the rest of the way :')

Leap Frog says this tablet is intended for children between 4 and 9! There are so many awesome games and learning videos on these I bet your granddaughters would LOVE it! There are hundreds of educational apps that increase difficulty for school aged children, so they have math, reading, witting etc.. And one super awesome benefit of the ultra is the wifi capabilities with the child safe web browser!! They have a link on the web that takes them to a kid proof 'like' youtube page and there are tons of videos that are all safe and educational! Then you can set up accounts on the leappad so they could each have their own profile with their own games and apps on it and as an adult with a "parent account" you can get online or even on the leappad itself and each profile shows progress of how the child does with certain apps so you can see first hand what areas they are improving in, or may need more help :-) This is a very insightful feature!!!

This is perfect for kids. It's made super durable and curated just for kids! I have a tablet, a laptop and my cell and my son is no longer allowed to play with anything but his own lol.. He had a leappad one of the older ones, and one night he was watching bubble guppies in his room alone and decided he wanted to put "KING" (what he calls it) in the fish tank. After that hes not allowed to play with my stuff anymore haha.

This is created specifically for children. It does not access the Kindle store no, but there are tons of books available for kids from the leappad app store!! :-)

Did you get the nabi jr or the nabi 2? My son has the nabi jr. At his dads house but he doesnt like it as much compared to the Ultra. He said he hardley ever wants to play it. I think its because some of the aps are too repetitive or basic. Like the games I have on my phone he used to play. The ultra has in depth learning features that encourage children to get to the next level by earning tokans and stars. My son started playing his leappad 2 around 18mo. He just turned 3 and navigates the ultra like a pro. Suggested age is 4-9 years. Personal experiance I would say 3 . They have tons of games and books for 2-5 year olds that teach early phonics and basic math skills etc. Since my son got his First leappad so early he has advanced to the 4-7 year age range already. He does simple spelling, basic addition and subtraction and even word recognition already. Not to mention his vocabulary is huge. I can hold some pretty interesting conversations with him lol. He is also bexome extremely observant in picking up on things. I think the nabi and the leappad are the top contenders in kids learning tablets but for a more educational aspect I would say leappad holds the lead. Even with purchasing the apps it has paid off quite well in my opinion.

Yeah that's why I'm starting with little stuff right now, until I learn a little more. If i lose out on a little, no big deal. A lot would be different! I love this site, because it's similar to bargaining in the way that we are trading tokens amongst each other, but I've got to learn the shipping and i don't want unhappy customers. Shipping is tricky sometimes, just be sure you always get tracking. I use Paypal to print my labels, tracking is free via paypal shipping so that is a plus! anything under 4oz is only $1.93 which isn't too bad really! Listia really is pretty awesome! I love trading anyway and the idea of saving up credits then getting things you actually want or need is so nice!! I went through a pretty nasty separation a couple years ago and Listia seriously saved me and my son lol. Between all the wonderful people I have meet on here and the opportunities to get things I couldn't or didn't /don't have money for it really is just such a blessing :-)
