what is a class 4 in comparison with a say class 10?

class 4 is slower.... I'd say it's somewhat "standard" and fine for phones or anything where you are not constantly writing big data back and forth.... cameras not so good you probably need class 10 as cameras/HD recorders need speed to write all that data and be ready for say the next photo or such
