The listing, 8 OLD MASTER's Postcards! Including the "Lady with the Pearl Earring"(2)&"Self portrait"- Rembrandt has ended.

This auction is for 8 Postcards! (2) "Head of a Girl" better known as the "Woman with the Pearl Earring " or "Lady with the Pearl Earring" (the subject of books and movies! There are only about 40 known Vermeer's in the world!This is one of his most famous! Then , "The Kitchen Maid" is also in this set! (also very famous!). I also added a self portrait of Rembrandt (I love this one!!) from the "Mauritshuis" museum , in the Hague (Center city in Holland and their Govt. center , I believe!). And Carravagio's wonderful "La Maddalena" from the Doria Pamphili Gallery(Museum). And then I include "The Young Bull" by Paulus Potter (Tate Gallery, London England).John Constable's "Dedham from Langham" (Also from the Tate)and Willem Van de Velde's "Ships in the Roads" from The Royal Picture Gallery, The Hague ,Holland. You cannot get these postcards without going to these museums (Possibly copies maybe sold in NYC of the more well known ones). I bought these back in the 1980's while travelling around Europe. Thanks! Yes, they are lovely! I use them all of the time, and have for years!(I always liked getting art cards , myself! Especially the ones you can't find for sale, but only at the museums! In Japan they also have things that look like bookmarks, you get them stamped with the date at the door, those are really nice because it's often a handmade print. (keep a look out, I may be posting some of those, too! TY for looking!
