I like this knife - I prefer a dagger because with my luck my hand would slip and I'd cut my own self :( this type knife prevents "slipping" - you know....to protect me from myself haha.....the bad thing is my son's birthday is coming up so knowing me , it'll be a present...lol

I'm not sure about other states, but it is smaller than 6 inches, double or not, that is legal most places. For other watchers, a good many states have their laws posted online for easy viewing. It is worth looking up. This is legal in Kentucky. I owned the exact same-looking knife about 20 years ago and loved it. This brings back great memories. I'm watching closely to see if I get a chance at it. :-)

Hey Jeffs, is that a clip on the side of the sheath, or a metal belt loop of some sort for a strap to hold it to your calf? NICE AUCTION!! Stick to your 'Knives', lol!! Don't let the dingos tear you up, mate! Watching!

Actually, it's up to the buyer to observe his or her state and local laws. The seller can't be held responsible.

Just FYI: in Texas double edge is illegal BUT if it has been sharpened on one side only it's not considered as a double. This was advice given to my oldest daughter by a deputy, regarding a similar boot knife. Of course, that leaves the issue of a concealed weapon, but that's why you keep it concealed, or put it outside for the honest world to see. F&W
