I remember seeing this as a child in my moms kitchen
We lived in Japan in 1968-my mother told me a lady that lived next door to us have this to her and story told was: it was handmade by her mother-
Measures 9 inches across
9 inches tall
There's a small spot on bottom where it got scraped and also on the side-looks to be glue stuck on it
I have not attempted to try to remove this spot
