The listing, Rare World War II Poland Stamps has ended.

Three old and rare World War II stamps from Poland. Three are unperforated issues from right after the German army was forced out of Poland, the blue one shows a before the war and after view of Warsaw issued in the spring of 1945 The reddish stamp is from 1938 and issued just prior to and used during the 1939 invasion of Poland by Germany and the Soviet Union, than allies in carving up Poland. Please enlarge to see the unusual and hard to find World War II stamps from invaded and liberated Poland. As wii all of my stamp auctions the winner will receive additional bonus stamps.

Questions & Comments

Russia's joint invasion of Poland would later be played down by England and the US when Russia was invaded in turn by the Germans and became allies. Hundreds of Polish military men and officers would be slaughtered by Russian troops but this crime got blamed on the Germans during and for a short time after the war when the truth was revealed.
