WESTCLOX SCOTTY- SHOCK RESISTANT MADE IN U.S.A., My grandfather boated many a ships with this, the tic-toc it makes is so strong and steady, you can hear it from a mile away, all of the features work, like it did 50 yrs ago, was a work horse, seen hurricanes , floods etc. has some wear and a bit of exterior scratches on face(if only they could talk) but is a very nice piece-keeps excellent time and holds a story please bid respectfully, you can find this on e-bay for about $30-$50, and upward.

If indeed it belonged to ur grandfather , why would you get rid of it , think!!!, would it be something so special passing it down to your son or great grandson some day with the same nelstalgia you described it as you did here!!!!???

my son is only 13 and my daughter 23 (respectfully)!! I have cherished many of things, but after living thru Katrina and Issac you start learning nothing is safe to keep anymore, pictures , purple hearts, baby hair, baby teeth or heirlooms!!!! My 13 yr old is looking to get an x-box game! as foolish as that might sound , it is today and now!!! I agree on sticking it in another tucked away box that needs to be toted away everytime we evacuate, but then my grandfather was a 33rd degree mason, 2 time purple heart recipient and I do have other valuables--I just think somebody cool wlll rather want it, my son feels comfortable not trying to collect it- he thinks he needs to protect other valuables, is just something that belongs to somebody who appreciates more than we do, DON'T BELONG IN A DRAW!!!!!

Keep in mind this piece is ruff and well worn-works perfect but does have imperfections, as scratches ect. ask questions if you have any!!
