This is a very well made 10ct checkerboard-cut London Blue Topaz solid sterling silver ring size 6 and hallmarked on the inner side of the band with .925. I sell these for $100 locally.

I'm a wire jewelry designer/instructor and this is one of the rings I created to demo last month and has never been worn. I used hard square sterling silver jeweler's wire to create it. The topaz is locked in solid with no movement and no way to come out. The topaz itself measures about 5/8" x 1/2" and is sure to get noticed! The checkerboard faceting makes it sparkle from all angles.

After I took the photos and they were enlarged, I noticed some tool marks and scratches which I couldn't see before. I immediately took the ring to my buffing wheel and took all of the marks out.
