Vintage 1966 Le Livre de Poche paperback from France. Used condition but readable and in good shape. One in Maurice Leblanc's series of stories about the gentleman thief Arsène Lupin. Fun Fact: The anime and manga series Lupin the Third by Monkey Punch is a continuation of these French stories. Lupin the Third was created as Arsène Lupin's grandson.

Oh. I didn't say this one is the first, just one in the series. I believe this one is the 12th one. There about 22 main books and three short stories. "Arsène Lupin, gentleman cambrioleur" is the first one. I picked it up in an excellent used bookstore but never got to read it. It was the only Lupin they had and is the only one I own. :(
