Description
The listing, (#29) PETOSKEY STONE from Michigan State stone has ended.
This stone " Composed of the fossilized skeletons of "Colonial Coral" (hexagonaria ) which lived their life span in the warm waters that covered Michigan during the Devonian Period some 350 million years ago. Each hexagonal chamber contains the prehistoric remains of a salt water marine life."
This is all written out and will come with this stone 4" x 1 1/2" & 1/2" thick. Smooth on the flat surface and the picture doesn't show the fossils very well but you'll be glad to add this to your collection.
