The listing, 925 vintage silver earrings has ended.

Vintage silver earrings. I'm not a jeweler, just clearing out extra stuff. There are tiny little sparkly things all over the front of the silver and a pretty white ball in the middle. Im SURE its NOT plastic, I think its mother of pearl, but my grandma says they are opal. Just bid on what you see in the photos, They certainly are beautiful, whatever they are, and very old. That much I do know.

Is the center flat or raised, iridescent or just a flat color? Thank you.

The center is raised.The stones do have depth and shine. They are not flat in shape nor in color. They are white with the slightest striping like bubble blow fluid. I'm getting better with the new camera and have put up new photos to try and answer your questions. I tried to get shots of the bubble colored ripples in the stone but its hard to do and didn't show as much of it as I had hoped. I hope this helps.

You might be right. I've only seen 1 for sure moonstone, that I remember, but if I remember right it did kinda look like that. I really don't know.
