I'm originally from Leesburg. All my family is in Lady lake and Fruitland park. We are heading home for this Thanksgiving.

We went Leesburg when we went to The Villages to visit my daughter and her husband who just moved there a few months ago. What a place. We also went through Lady Lake. I spent lots of my summers of my youth in southern Fla. We have been to Fla many times on vacations. I tried to move to Tampa in the 80s but couldn't get work and ended up back here in hellish CT.
We want to retire somewhere warm, we were thinking of North Carolina around Ashville or Franklin, but won't retire for another 3 yrs. I would go immediately to The Villages if we could afford it.AND IF PALAMETTO BUGS DIDN'T EXIST! It is an amazing place!!

I moved to hot and humid Houston lol. Franklin is really nice. Well it was 20 yrs ago lol.

In the past 17 yrs we have had a few light flurries sometimes it sticks but very rare. The kids sure love it lol. Weather here is a lot like fla.
