The listing, Old Music Box has ended.

Old music box, I think made by Schylling, the wind up is stamped with an S(?) It is a wooden music box with little boy driving a car witha yellow bird sitting on the car. A Dog is sitting on 2 books . the music box still winds up an plays music (song???) Also it looks like it was possibly used as a piggy bank you can lift the car up and there is a slot for coins. Very cute and unusal. Good condition with a few paint chips!! Would be great for a music box collector!!!

I am so sorry I don't there is a sticker on the bottom but it is really faded, I would think in the 60's, I just don't know. It's a very unsual piece!! Thanks for looking!!!

Its old, I can remember when my mother had things that were made like that and I have a friend that collects old things she said it looks like around the 30's. What a nice thing to win!!!!

My husband was looking at the music boxes tonight and think's the slot may have been used to make the car go up and down as the music played (??), but the music box does work!!
