Sorry for late reply. They are made with a goat milk soap base and glycerin. There is no lye in them. The only added ingredients that I added were oatmeal powder, the coloring and the essential oil. I actually made these for myself but had a bunch left over and thought I'd give them away here. I've never had a problem with any of the goat milk base and I have sensitive skin. I
