Sounds great! Are you back from your trip now? Did you have a wonderful visit with Mom? I hope so..... I won the most gorgeous Coach travel case (BNWT) from one of the ladies here on Listia that seem to know "Authentic" COACH. My mom is going to LOVE it. (for her trips to Vegas and Hawaii)!! Hiya~ Yes, a wonderful time. I love my mom to pieces. She needs someone living by here so hopefully she will figure that out sooner rather than later. (My sister moved away the weekend she and I headed out to my aunts ~ I stayed one night then headed home, she stayed for a week and is now back in her home~ so it wasn't too sad for my sister to move away from her.) Now I need to get her moved down here near me so I can "play" all I want. She has been one of my best friends all my life. I miss her being near by and now that she is getting older, she needs me more than just for a friend. I love doing things for her so when she calls to ask questions over the phone it makes it so hard to not just get in the car and drive there. (Note, I live in NC and she lives in Indiana!) Not a

No, that wouldn't be a quick trip. I understand though. I tried to move away from my parents ..... once. That did NOT work for me! I will never try it again. I figure as long as I can financially survive near them and they are here for me to spend time with, I'd better enjoy it! My husband lost his mother many years ago to cancer and he was too far away when she passed to be by her side, I see how devastating it still is for him. I'm going to be up my mom's armpit until she doesn't want me there anymore. LOL!

I think I saw the coach case you were bidding on. I sneaked on Listia every now and then while I was there. You know, Listia is a great place to get those items you can't normally just go out and buy if you are on a tight budget. I think that is one of the best things about it! Like for instance, these owls. Yes, I may have them in my local store but then again, I may not. Or, it may be an item that has been sitting my my closet (or your kitchen cabinet) for years that all of a sudden you think, "Hey, maybe someone else would use this thing I am not using!" Love me some listia!

True. Since I became laid off from my job, Listia has helped on many an occasion when I would've been stuck trying to rob Peter to pay Paul.... You know? I agree, I wish we could sit and talk sometime too, but we'd probably never get anything else done. I can talk A LOT! LOL!
