Bloodroot is a perennial root that blooms in March to May, likes moist soil, and gets 8-10" tall.The rhizome has an orange red sap, thats why its called Bloodroot. Flowers are white with eight to tweve petals that are 1-2 inches long. Likes shady, moist areas. Dump entire package you receive into a hole about 3" deep. may not bloom till second season.
