The listing, FujiFilm FinePx AX550 has ended.

Great little used camera. It's a FinePix AX550 Fujifilm digital camera. It has a Optical Zoom 5X, 16 Mega pixels, 2.7" LCD screen, it comes with the original basic manual and comes with the cd Owners Manual and software. It takes 2 double AA batteries and also takes a memory card. PLEASE NOTE, YOU WILL HAVE TO ADD YOUR OWN MEMORY CARD AS I WILL NEED IT FOR MY NEW CAMERA.

no it doesn't, it never did but I bought a media card reader for $6 at Big Lots that works great

Yes it can, I just tried it. In fact I didn't even know it had a video camera capability

No it does not, it just uses the digital screen on the back for the viewing.

Sometimes the door on the batteries doesn't stay completely closed but the reason for selling it is because I won a Nikon digital camera and that one is an upgrade.

I saw many reviews on this camera saying it does not keep charged for very long at all and shuts off when you try to zoom in or switch to camera mode. does this do that for you?

I use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, it gets me about 1250 pics before I need to replace the batteries. Of course if you use the video mode it will run the batteries longer. If never had an issue with it shutting off.
