Reddish purple crinkly leaves with pink flowers. This Basil has a wonderful perfumed scent. It has a medium flavor that goes well with pasta and rice dishes. It is also used to flavor oils and vinegars. It is also a highly prized ornamental herb because it keeps its rich color all season long.

I will send you five seeds. I've found this is plenty, just one seeds is a whole bush which yields more basil than our family can eat!
