U can use rolling pin but takes alot of pressure....been doing these with rolling pins with jr high for years as ten rolling pins is cheasper then ten cuttlebugs or something......just frlyi....good luck on your aution

Are these compatible with Sizzix?

you can run them thru your sizzix sidekick cutting pad but they will be hanging over the end. If you have the longer sizzix cutting pad ( the same width as the sidekick) they will work beautifully. I have used them in my sidekick for cards too.

Will these work with just the handheld embossing stylus? Also...I'm originally from Olympia so very familiar with your town! :-) F&W

these work best with the embossing machines. My daughter asked me the other day if you could use a rolling pin for the pressure to emboss. I don't know why you can't.. The stylus is more for the brass plates. What part of Oly. did you come from? It's no big city but it's home...
