It has like a 30 inch chain, but I can make it shorter for you if you want. He is very heavy metal so he would hold up good for a child too!I have one and wear him daily!

If I would happen to get lucky & win this for Lucy...I was trying to figure out how much shorter....she's tall ...but petite...I was thinking maybe around 15 inches or so????..Even if its a little long, she'll grow into it fast enough...I cant wear necklaces...so Im just making a guess....a lotta help I am huh??? :)
