This auction is for an AS IS item. I have no way of knowing if this flash actually works or not. It was given to me but is not compatible with my camera. I've cleaned it up as much as I knew was safe to. While researching what it was I actually found, I read posts about it being possible to "modify it so it works with modern Pentax DSLR cameras." The one who posted this comment said they did so for a Pentax k-x. I am not sure if this is true or not. I have a friend who it a photographer whom I asked these same questions to and he didn't have any answers for me but he did say at one time it was an expensive model.

I did find the same item selling from 20-40 dollars elsewhere on the internet including eBay.
