The listing, Linksys Wireless-G Router Running Tomato Firmware has ended.

Turbo-charge your home network with this lightly-used Linksys WRT-54G (ver. 2) Wireless Router running Tomato!

Tomato Firmware Review: http://lifehacker.com/344765/turn-your-60-router-into-a-user+friendly-super+router-with-tomato

Some Technical Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linksys_WRT54G_series
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomato_Firmware

This router is was used for about a year and has been sitting in my closet for the past several. Since the Linksys Firmware is pretty lame, I upgraded it to the Tomato v1.25. (V1.25 is the current stable version which you can get from the Tomato Website: http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato.)

For the hackers out there - Version 2 of the WRT-54G MAY have 32mb of ram. You need to crack open the case and check the ram chip and board revision. If you're in luck, you'll need to use the OpenWRT firmware and you might as well over-clock the unit... (LAN Party?)

I've got a newer version of this router at home, which is not as hackable - but is setup and running all my filtering rules. (So I was pretty interested in researching this one, but I really don't want to waste the time to upgrade and re-write the rules... though I'm wasting a ton of time on Listia...8^)

Learn something new on Listia everyday. I didn't even know there were custom firmwares available for routers...

bah lol I changed the firmware for my router with dd-wrt. I think I'm missing some settings. Can't get it to connect to the internet anymore but the firmware is in place. I should have left this stuff to the pros lol

I'm glad you are laughing! I've got a dd-wrt (v23 sp2) wifi, if you send me email with the specifics - I'll try to get you the setting that I'm using...

In the meantime, perhaps you want to bid on one? 8^)

incognitas asked and is willing to paypal me the difference. It costs about $18 to ship to the UK. I'm willing to pay $10, which is pretty much what it cost to ship within the the US.

If you want to pay the difference, I'm willing to ship it overseas.
