The listing, HUGE LOT of 7 100g NIP Skeins of Ironstone Felicia Boucle Cotton Rayon Yarn has ended.

This listing is for SEVEN skeins of a gorgeous orange boucle yarn. Here are the details:

Style: Felicia
Color (for all): #813 (a rich pumpkin orange)
Lot (for all): #1
Fiber content: 71% cotton 29% rayon
Weight: bulky
Guage: 4 sts = 1" on US#9 needle
Texture: boucle, slub

This yarn is a beautiful higher-end cotton blend yarn, all new in its original wrappers (seven matching skeins).. It's been stored in a fabric storage case in my sewing room in my smoke-free home since I purchased it .

Though my home is 100% smoke-free, I *do* have pets (dogs), but they don't go upstairs at all (my craft room is located upstairs). I cannot guarantee, however, that these haven't been exposed to pet dander.

LOL... yes, there will be more to come. I have a huge stash to sort and clear out. We're currently, however, fostering older two Labradors (in addition to enjoying our own pack of six dogs), so I have my hands full getting them ready for whoever their next family will be. :) I'm a little swamped right now with these two dogs, so I'll only be listing things here and there until we can get them retrained and settled into a forever home. :)

Will do! The two we're fostering have only been here a week, but are doing fabulously (they're 6.5 yo). My gang (the other six) have welcomed them, and the pack is doing quite well. I, however (lol...), am exhausted. Good luck!

FiveLabMom, you are wonderful to take in and foster those dogs!!! This world needs more people like you. We just adopted three babies from a no-kill, non-profit organization, here. We got two dogs-mother & son; and a pretty calico cat that is shy. She hasn't come out yet; but I'm thinking with a few more days, she will. My husband doesn't understand at all because he's not a cat person. The dogs are really his; but think they belong to me. LOL =D

Congrats on your new family!!! Kudos to you for adopting these three! At least the mother and son have each other to help them transition; the calico is probably terrified. Give her time, though. :) I can't have cats here as I'm uber allergic to them (my daughter had to take her cat with her when she got married; we couldn't keep him here). Is this yarn soft? It looks like that it is. I know that some bulky yarn can be stiff feeling

"Soft" (as in, soft like cashmere) isn't how I'd describe this. It's cotton and rayon, and it's a small boucle (has a rough and nubby texture). It is not, however, stiff at all. Not in the least. The things I've made with this yarn drape beautifully and are very fluid. And even though it's technically "bulky" it's not thick they way I normally think of bulky yarn (what makes it "bulky" are the bumps that make it a boucle). Does that help?

F & W. All our dogs have been recues. Two. One lived for l4 years & had 3 legs. The other one is still with us & she is showing signs of age but is the best dog in the world. She lays beside my bed in the morning & doesn't make a sound until I start waking up. She almost never barks & loves children. Mostly because they drop food.
