So you can`t use this on the lips as indicated after the Ingredient?

Yes, that is correct any makeup that contains the following ingredients below are not approved to be used on your lips because you cannot eat it. They are wonderful eye shadows and blush shades! Many companies do not disclose that to their customers. I prefer to keep my customers informed about the ingredients :-)

Ultramarines: Made from powdering the mineral lapis lazuli. A group of inorganic pigments made from combinations of kaolin clay and other minerals using a heat treating process. Not approved for use on the lips

Ferric Ferrocyanide (Iron Blue) or Prussian Blue:

A flat blue organic pigment most often used to impart blue and green tones to cosmetics for the eye area. Not approved for use on the lips.

Chromium Oxide Greens: Oxides of chromium occurring in the earth’s crust. Some risk of allergic reactions. Not approved for use on the lips.

No, loose mineral makeup is not organic...minerals are literally crushed rocks derived from the earth that are pulverized into a fine powder. They are rocks and non-living, so real mineral makeup is inorganic… not organic. Many people think the word organic means natural.
