Though my home is 100% smoke-free, I *do* have pets (dogs), but they don't go upstairs at all (my craft room is located upstairs). I cannot guarantee, however, that these haven't been exposed to pet dander.

This looks like fabulous yarn, watching, however I read the reviews and some said it goes thick then thin like lace weight....hmmmm could provide interesting texture.

Thanks for the research and input. I've honestly not used this particular yarn in a project yet, so I really can't say for sure one way or the other. Just looking at the skeins it looks pretty consistent to me, but perhaps (because it's cotton) it's weight will vary depending on how much tension you put on the yarn while you're knitting (just as gauge really depends on the knitter, too). I've used a number of types of yarn from KnitPicks before and have been well pleased with them. But, I've never used this specific type of yarn. If you're concerned about the reviews you read elsewhere, I'd suggest just skipping this auction and going for something else with which you can feel more confident.
