The listing, The Weatherman, a paperback by Steve Thayer has ended.

The Weatherman, a paperback by Steve Thayer. This wildly interesting book looks to be in Like New condition but I am going to call it Very Good condition due to some flaws – it has unusual spine creases that look more like crunches than lines, it shows some wear to some of the cover edges, and it has slight rounding near the spine from normal reading. I almost kept this book myself due to the review by Stephen King on the front cover –

“One of the highest take-off points of any novel in recent memory.” – Stephen King

The Weatherman. It's the dead of winter, and a serial killer has frozen a city in fear... Television newscaster Andrea Labore sees it as a career-making story... He's called The Weatherman. And he's going to make Andrea a star... Even if it kills her. — Andrea Labore is a beautiful, ambitious Twin Cities TV newscaster, hungering for an anchor chair, and with two men hungering for her. One is Rick Beanblossom, a star reporter who hides his disfigured face behind a cotton mask and his scarred soul behind a cynical shield. The other is the channel's uncanny weatherman, Dixon Bell, a gentle bearlike genius whose claws are as concealed as his past.

When Andrea goes after the story of a serial killer of pretty young women, it becomes clear that the monstrous murderer is after her. Trusting the wrong man with her love can cost her life. And as the clouds of suspicion darken, the only sure forecast is that death will strike like lightning again and again... closer and closer...
