Yes. When I called the SYLVANIA company 1-800 number and talked to them they said that it is only WiFi compatible because was going to try and send it in and get it fixed for my 2 year old daughter but never ended up doing it.

I think so. I'm not 100% sure.I have not been able to get it to past the turn on screen to be able to get any information off of it.
